Facebook

One of all the social networks which is the most known and used by everybody is Facebook. From children until Mr./Mrs. Everyone knows FB, that’s we called. This site has a blue background. According to Mark Zuckerbeg who found Facebook, he decided to designed with full of blue because he had blind-color between red and green. So that’s why, he chose blue as facebook’s background.

Facebook is also very useful if you know how to use it. E.g. ; connect with someone who has already never seen or with someone who unpredictable can suddenly meet in here. So many experiences about it. For example is me. I met and could talk with someone who I’ve never seen in long time that’s all because of facebook. While I was online, suddenly there was someone who added me (term for friend request on facebook) and when I realized she’s my old friend so directly I confirmed (term for accept friend request). That’s right, we could know they are our friends or not because of the photo that they used on facebook. In the other hand facebook also as a place to share anything. Such as photos or just videos that we have already watched on purpose to everyone can watch it as well. Not only for photos or videos but also a writing, links and forth. We can write anything what we felt on note of facebook. And also everyone can see it and do likes or comments on our posted. It’s really common on facebook.

In the Internet we can share anything. Although we are sad or upset, if we share our grief, it feel like the sadness has gone.

Twitter

Another social network. Actually this site was already quite a long time in about 2006 as same as facebook. But the fame is blowed up lately. One of the most popular social networking after facebook, was invented by Jack Dorsey, Biz Stone, and Evan Williams in the USA. If facebook is identical with blue different thing with the twitter is identical with green.

The same thing like facebook, twitter can also share anything. Photos, videos, or links. Just has different terms. Twitter uses follow, retweet, reply, direct message etc. According to me using twitter is more difficult than facebook. If you use twitter at the fisrt time, you will find such difficulties or you do not quite understand how to use it. But later as long as you use, you will get it on your own.

In Indonesia itself, twitter started to become facebook’s rivals, although such a different applications. Twitter started sticking when many celebrities use as a place for built up their fame mostly of them make cases to invite people's attention. Luna Maya for example, wrote on her cases’s progress on twitter or just shared what she did. And Angelina Sondakh who repeatedly wrote sadness about her husband's death. And many more examples of celebrities’s cases on twitter.

I also want to notice about term of twitter, is TT. What is that mean? Might it’s one of the all advantages from twitter. TT means trending topic. Which means something that is a lot of people talked about. Like Michael Jackson’s death, everybody in over the world told about him. And became a TT and hold on in several weeks at it time.

Bad things on Facebook and Twitter

If there are good sides of course there are bad sides as well. Make sure whatever we share should be noted first, do not get any words or statements that could offend other people. Many cases like this. For example there was occurrence, a student of junior high school was dropped out from her school because wrote a status that impolite for his teacher. And unfortunately the teacher knew and she immediately reported to the principal. That case was very ridiculous, a student could be dropped out because of facebook. It’s also to be a learning for us for do not write any negative statements.

In the twitter sometimes people forgot about time. They woke up every morning and directly wrote on their twitter, like “just woke up”/”good morning guys” and so on. They forgot what should be more important such as take a bath, breakfast, prepared what they brought. That is really outrageous. But it’s the fact!

And sometimes whatever celebrities shared could be affected by people who read it. Especially for fans moreover they realized that it’s not good. Perhaps it’s one of another bad things from facebook or twitter.

Can be called arrogant because of Facebook and Twitter?

Yups really true. There are several things that can make us labeled as arrogant or whatever.

For example ; we protect our twitter or facebook account. Which means anyone can’t see our activities or can’t allow to add/follow. Besides our purpose is to avoid from people who wickedly. Then if we forgot the username or the name of our friend's account, we could be called arrogant! They will be thinking, we do not want to do activities with them. But mostly cases are they changed their user name so we couldn’t recognize our friends.

How to solve it?

There is not useful when we are listening to people tell us 'arrogant'. Because there are still judgments like that. And it can not be denied. Because there are always negative comments in over the world. if so, do whatever we will do on twitter or facebook as friendly as possible. if we thought done but they still think we are arrogant, So just ignore it. Internet is played to have fun, not to think everything’s negative. Is it?

Talk about positive or negative things that we get from social networking sites. It’s nearly can’t be denied. If we wouldn’t like to being bad or get bad things we should figure out what we read and what we watched on facebook or twitter as clever as we can. Remember everything we saw or read from someone who we admire, it is not definitely positive enough. So everything should be back again on ourselves.
