- What do you think about culture lag in
Indonesia?
- Please give three examples of culture diffusion!
Answer:
- I think Culture lag in Indonesia is spreading rapidly. Indonesians mostly young people get easily to accept a new culture that they think ‘it’s modern and simple’. When somebody else still keeps what they used to have – then they will get comments that ‘you are old fashion’ or something like that. In fact they get influenced with the others. Personally I think, it is quite good following such a ‘modern thing’ in our life but without leaving which something that we have had. It all about memories, for example a letter – I think in another day we have been leaving it, now people usually use SMS, BBM, Skype, WA or something modern like that. Okay they are quite easy to use, simple and fast but as I said before there is no memories left then because each system in each program will refresh automatically so that means we cannot back to see or read a past memory. In latter, we can read over and over again, it is might quite old but it is still sweet – I would say.
